WHAT TO EXPECT?
Kelang Baptist Church is a warm and loving community of mature Christians who have been serving this church and the local neighbourhood faithfully for 50 years (as of 2026).
Join us if you prefer a celebration of Christ’s love in a mellower service or if you seek the counsel of people whose heads are crowned with the glory of…gray hair! (Proverbs 16:31). Our worship sessions are filled with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs song unto the Lord with thankfulness (Colossians 3:16), led by whole-hearted musicians.
Pastor Peter’s sermons are simple to understand and deeply touching. They are good reminders of God’s grace that calls us to live out the two most important commandments: To love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength; then to love our neighbours as ourselves (Matthew 22:34–40; Mark 12:28–34; Luke 10:25–28).

Pastor Peter Chan
Pastor Peter is our shepherd; he serves at Kelang Baptist Church with his lovely wife, Sister Yvonne, and son, Sam. Pastor Peter’s sermons focus on truth, and is always preached with plenty of grace.
